Effective January 1, 2006
This bill provides that during the first 12 months after issuance of a provisional driver’s license, the licensee is prohibited from driving between the hours of 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. and is prohibited from transporting passengers who are under 20 years of age, unless in either situation the licensee is accompanied and supervised as currently provided or an existing exception applies.
