And to pass your permit
test a passing grade
is 8 or less
errors out of
46 questions.

Can I sign
up for Code 3 drivers
training now, even
through I am not done
with driver education?
A. You may
only sign up once
you receive your permit.
Then call 559.297.6903
or drop by the office
to set up your lessons.
The exception is if
you are completed
with driver education
and you are under
15 1/2 and would like
to begin drivers training
before 15 1/2 years
old, yes. We can issue
you a student license
for $2.00. This will
only allow you to
drive with Code 3
Driving Instructors
not your parents,
at least not until
you get your permit.

How long is
driver training?
A. Lessons
will consist 3 days
2 hour lessons each
day for a total of
6 hours of behind
the wheel training.

the same car I drove
for driver training,
for the D.M.V. Drive
Test?
A. Yes. It
is very common for
a student to take
their Drive Test in
the same car that
they took their lessons
in. There will
be a fee for this,
call the office and
we will be happy to
discuss the details
with you.

What happens
if I loose one of
my certificates?
A. First
please call the office
so that we can prepare
a duplicate for you,
so when you come in
it will be ready.
The fee for
the duplicate certificate
is $5.00

When I go down
for my drive test
do I have to pay for
my D.M.V. drive test
or take another written
test again?
A. No. As
long as you take the
drive test within
the time your permit
is valid and it is
your first test. After
your first test (if
you fail) DMV will
charge a fee of $6.00
each test thereafter.

What new restrictions
apply to me when I
receive my provisional
license?
A. During
the first year
after receiving a
license, the provisional
driver won't be able
to drive between 11 p.m.
and 5 a.m. without
special permission
or with a licensed
adult driver age 25
or older. The driver
will also be restricted
from transporting
any passengers under
20 years old, unless
accompanied by an
adult at least 25
years old.
When
a minor turns
18 years of age
the restrictions will
no longer apply.

your completion certificate.
